Game Description: Goonies II is a side-scrolling action-adventure game based on the popular film The Goonies. Players control Mikey as he navigates through different areas in search of his captured friends. The game combines platforming with puzzle-solving, with Mikey using a variety of items like a slingshot and bombs to defeat enemies and progress. The game also includes RPG-style elements, like collecting items and keys to unlock new areas, with the ultimate goal of rescuing all of Mikey's friends.
Note: The transition from 5-screw to 3-screw cartridges in Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games was primarily a cost-saving
