Game Description: Metroid is a nonlinear action-adventure game where players control Samus Aran, a bounty hunter exploring the alien planet Zebes. Players must find power-ups like the Morph Ball and missiles to unlock new areas and defeat powerful bosses, culminating in a showdown with Mother Brain. The game’s open-ended exploration and atmospheric setting helped define the "Metroidvania" genre.
