Game Description: Wrecking Crew is a "programmable series" action-puzzle game where players control Mario as he demolishes walls, ladders, and obstacles using a hammer. Unlike traditional Mario games, there is no jumping; instead, players must strategically plan their destruction while avoiding enemies like the eggplant-shaped Gotchawrenches. The game also features a level editor, allowing players to create their own stages.
Note: The transition from 5-screw to 3-screw cartridges in Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games was primarily a cost-saving measure implemented by Nintendo during the late 1980s. This change occasionally coincided with updates to other aspects of the game's packaging, including the Universal Product Code (UPC) and/or a color change to the Nintendo Seal of Quality (SOQ). Not all NES games underwent a UPC change during this transition and many retained the same UPC across both cartridge designs.
